Drea is an author, yogi, writer, speaker and nomad. She is an award winning travel writer and spoken word artist that relentlessly challenges the status quo and tenaciously intrudes upon the calamity of the patriarchy.
Drea holds a B.S. degree in neuroscience/nutrition and an M.A. in medical anthropology/somatic psychology. Her professional background also includes teaching yoga and meditation, working as a fitness trainer, somatic therapist, bodyworker and nutritionist. She is a self-proclaimed qualitative research nerd that loves international travel, W. African dance and natural, unrepentant landscapes.
Her passions include storytelling, food justice, anti-racism, international travel, child advocacy and homemade chai.
Currently working on a memoir and planning a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico.
